Baltimore Orioles rookie pitcher Kevin Gausman really loves donuts. In fact, Gausman loves them so much that they have even become a part of his pitching routine. The LSU product has a ritual of eating the powdered treats before each game he pitches. He claims the tradition dates back to seventh grade. Sounds like a great way to get ready for a baseball game, huh?On Thursday, Gausman got the call up to the major leagues and was welcomed to the clubhouse by a locker full of powdered donuts, courtesy of the team. The youngster probably thought he was in heaven. But perhaps he indulged a little too much, though. His first big league start against the Blue Jays didn't go so well, as he surrendered seven hits and four runs in five innings of work. He took the loss in the affair. However, he can take solace in knowing that his addiction can be fed for quite some time now.Via MLB Cut4
