The Miami Marlins (7-8) and Jose Reyes will roll into Flushing tonight to oppose the injury riddled New York Mets (8-8) tonight at 7:10 PM ET at Citi Field.

Although the Marlins arrived to New York on Sunday evening, Jose Reyes and the Marlins returned to Citi Field for the first time this year earlier this afternoon. Reyes, who answered questions for the media, reiterated that while he was grateful for his time in New York that he's no longer sad and is a Miami Marlin.

Johan Santana (0-2, 3.97  ERA) will take the bump for his 4th start of the year coming off of the worst start of his career. Last week in Atlanta, Santana was shelled for 6 runs in 1 1/3 innings. Perhaps the best news to come out of the start was that Santana felt fine, but it served as a reminder that the surgery that held him out of action for over a year is still lingering and there will be bumps in the road. On the plus side, Santana has been lights out against the Marlins in his career, posting a 6-1 record with a 1.47 ERA in 9 career starts.

Josh Johnson ( 0-2, 5.94 ERA) has limped out of the gate following major surgery as well, struggling to locate his pitches and be effective in the process. In an extremely uncharacteristic stat for Miami's ace, Johnson has allowed 11 runs and 28 hits in 16 2/3 innings. Johnson has been scary good against the Mets in his career and will look to build on his 8-1 record that he's built.

Last night, Jason Bay dove for a ball that wound up tipping off his glove and rolling to the wall. The result is a fractured rib, which has landed Bay on the 15-day disabled list for the first time this season. Perhaps the most interesting note about this stint is that it may end up costing Bay his option year in 2014. Bay's 2014 will vest if he has 500 plate appearances in 2012 and 2013 or 600 in 2013.

Mike Pelfrey, coming off of his most dominant start of the year, has also landed on the disabled list with elbow swelling. Pelfrey may be looking at significantly more time than 15 days on the sidelines depending on the extent of the injury, which will be revealed in the coming days. Robert Carson has been recalled from AA Binghamton to take Pelfrey's rotation spot in the interim.

New York Mets Starting Lineup:
1. Kirk Nieuwenhuis CF
2. Ruben Tejada SS
3. Daniel Murphy 2B
4. David Wright 3B
5. Lucas Duda RF
6. Ike Davis 1B
7. Mike Baxter LF
