Jose Quintana was strong yet again and the White Sox rediscovered the long ball on Friday night. Jeff Keppinger and Adam Dunn homered and Quintana delivered 6 2/3 well-pitched innings as the White Sox snapped a 10-game road losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. Dayan Viciedo also singled in two runs in his return to the lineup as the White Sox won for the first time away from U.S. Cellular Field since July 13 in Philadelphia. Quintana pitched out of key trouble spot in the third inning and didn’t look back as he finished with seven strikeouts. “Q was good” manager Robin Ventura said. “He used a lot of pitches. You had a lot of guys fouling off a lot of pitches. He had the one at-bat with (Ryan) Doumit that lasted what a normal inning would last.
