Texas third baseman Adrian Beltre has left the Rangers' game against the Detroit Tigers with a strained left hamstring.
Beltre hit a second-inning double and was holding his left hamstring after pulling up at second. He was taken out with Texas leading 8-0 in the first game of a day-night doubleheader.
Beltre hasn't missed a game this season for the Rangers, but he spent time on the disabled list last year with a left hamstring strain. He was limited to 124 games in 2011.
Before hurting himself, Beltre had two hits in two innings as Texas pounded Detroit starter Rick Porcello.
