As they've done all season, the Rangers won another big game to end a losing streak. Things didn't look good Friday and Saturday and Texas couldn't afford another loss to the Rays. Scott Feldman led the way with his best career performance and the Rangers got just enough runs to get the job done. It was critical in that they are now 2 games ahead of the Rays for second in the wild card standings. The Rangers will need the Rays to beat up on Boston later in the season, so they need to stay ahead of them (a loss on Sunday would have dropped them into a tie with the Rays). It also means that at worst, they'll be 2 games out of the AL wild card lead on Monday morning.
