Rangers aren't going away?

We've made that argument repeatedly over the last few months. But now some others are catching on. USA Today has a story up saying the Rangers have plenty of confidence heading into this last 6 weeks or so. Here's part of it: The Texas Rangers have had that "won't-go-away" look about them all season. Forget that. The Rangers belong. They have the opportunity this weekend to prove they're in the playoff race to stay and their 4-1 victory Thursday at Cleveland reminded why not only are the Rangers a contender, they also figure to get better over the season's final seven weeks. Four and a half games behind the AL West-leading Los Angeles Angels, Texas isn't giving up on winning its division, especially with a 9-3 head-to-head edge against the Angels.
