One month into the season and we know two things about the Rangers: their offense is picking up where it left off last season and their pitching has drastically improved from last season’s horrendous output.  Though both facets of the team are virtually the same as last season’s mark, the team has managed to stay hovered around the .500 mark, good for second place in the AL West.  That’s not to say improvement from the pitching end isn’t there. Rookie SP Derek Holland Rookie RP Thomas Diamond Instead of finishing last in the league in team ERA, the Rangers are currently 11th in the league and 8th in quality starts.  Since the beginning of the season, Kason Gabbard has been traded back to the Red Sox and Kris Benson has seen two starts pushed back.  In comes the number one ranked farm system.  The Rangers had their first glimpse of highly touted farm player Derek Holland, a hard throwing left handed pitcher.  He has pitched five innings, struck out five...
