Dave Bush has been unconditionally released by the Texas Rangers, according to TR Sullivan of MLB.com. Bush was designated for assignment on July 1. He is 0-1 with a 5.71 ERA in 17 appearances. Though he has had a rough showing this season he could provide a veteran arm out of the bullpen for clubs with young relievers.
Bush, 31, has pitched to a career 56-69 record with a 4.70 career ERA. He has played for 3 career teams; the Brewers, the Blue Jays, and the Rangers.
