Go to any web site selling Texas Rangers gear and there they are: T-shirts and jerseys with the names Napoli, Hamilton and Young on the back.
Soon, they could all be in the bargain bin.
The Rangers are undergoing much more than a wardrobe change this winter. General manager Jon Daniels and team president Nolan Ryan are in the midst of reshaping the team.
Mike Napoli is already...

The Texas Rangers have traded Michael Young to the Philadelphia Phillies, according to major-league sources.
The trade was first reported by Bob Nightengale of USA Today.
The Rangers will get right-handed pitchers Josh Lindblom and Lisalverto Bonilla, according to reports.
Young had a five-year, $80 million deal with the Rangers through the 2013 season and a full no-trade clause...
Going into the final day of the MLB Winter Meetings today, traction on a lot of the bigger names on the free agent and trade markets has hit a near standstill. We've heard about teams having interest in players, players getting close to signing with teams, and trades on the horizon. But nothing has happened quite yet, and it's all because of one team: the Texas Rangers.
The Phillies have a hole at third base, and Michael Young is a man without a position in Texas. These two problems look to be coalescing into a trade between the Rangers and Phillies, where Texas would ship Young to Philadelphia in order to give him the chance to have a regular gig again, and they’d receive a little bit of salary relief in the process. The Rangers would still...
The Seattle Mariners are serious about free-agent outfielder Josh Hamilton.
The team has discussed three-year deals with Hamilton in the range of $20 million to $25 million per season, major-league sources say.
The Texas Rangers remain more focused on free-agent right-hander Zack Greinke, sources say, creating a possible opening for the Mariners.
The Mariners met...
At least financially? As just about every team but the Yomiuri Giants has been associated with signing Josh Hamilton, the Yankees name finally surfaced. USA Today’s Bob Nightengale tweeted:
@BNightengale The #Yankees, but not GM Brian Cashman, quietly running background check on Josh Hamilton, rival GM says.
The background check might turn up some issues with substance...
Reliever Koji Uehara has reached an agreement with the Boston Red Sox, pending a physical.
The 37-year-old right-hander spent the last two seasons with Texas, and Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said Thursday that he had tried to re-sign him before Uehara decided to accept Boston's offer.
''We would have liked to have him back,'' Daniels said. ''...
Shortstop Elvis Andrus made his first winterball appearance in a few years on Tuesday, getting the start at shortstop for the Navegantes del Magallanes. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action in the Texas Rangers' system.
Apparently Ruben Amaro Jr. is hot and heavy for the Texas Rangers Michael Young to fill the Phillies 3rd base vacancy next season. Young has full no-trade rights and is owed $16M in 2013. He's coming off a season in which he only hit .277/.682 and is now 36 years old. Rangers are rumored to be willing to eat at least half of his salary, but that's still a steep price...
Free agent right-handed starting pitcher Ryan Dempster turned down a two-year, $25 million contract offer from the Boston Red Sox, ESPN Boston reported Friday. Dempster also recently rejected a similar offer from the Kansas City Royals. The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported that Dempster could sign with the first team that offers him a three-year deal. Dempster struggled...
After going 0-for-4 for Magallanes on Friday, shortstop Elvis Andrus is now without a hit in his first 12 winterball at-bats this season. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action in the Texas Rangers' system.

A word of advice for certain baseball general managers: When dealing with Zack Greinke and Josh Hamilton: caveat emptor – let the buyer beware. I’m speaking to you, Ned Colletti, Jon Daniels, Jerry Dipoto, Jack Zduriencik. Daniels, the Rangers GM, knows of which I speak. Hamilton has been his headache for the [...]
