Ranking the New York Yankees – Top 15

Last week, Keith Law ranked the top 100 prospects in baseball going into the 2009 seaon. That gave me the idea to rank the New York Yankees going into the 2009 season. Now I know all the fantasy baseball magazines are coming out and you could probably just count up the Yanks and see where Sporting News and ESPN have them ranking, but as a fan who watches every game, I thought I take my own unique stab at it. And just to let everyone know, I did not look at one fantasy baseball magazine before generating these rankings. This list was made based on my opinions from what I saw on the field last year and pure gut expectations. Lastly, these projections were generated assuming no unexpected injuries. However, I did take in to account those who are injury prone and adjusted accordingly where noted.
