With MLB's annual winter meetings just days away, the Rays have made their first trade of the offseason, sending reliever Burke Badenhop to the Brewers. In return, Tampa Bay receives Raul Mondesi Jr., a 20-year-old outfielder who signed with the Brewers in 2010 out of the Dominican Republic. Badenhop threw 62.1 innings for the Rays in 2012, racking up 42 strikeouts and a 3.03 ERA. Mondesi Jr., the son of former major leaguer Raul Mondesi, played for Milwaukee's Rookie-level affiliate last season.
