(AP Photo/Mary Schwalm) We have experience some difficulty in posting to our site, though all of those issues seem to be resolved. We appreciate all of our readers and thank you for visiting our page. Now, back to the recap. The Sox hit 4 homers in today's game to take the rubber game, 10-5. The Sox continue to hold the best record in the AL at 39-25. I know I was very confident in a Sox sweep, and I had good reason to, but I'll take 2 out of 3. The Angels jumped out to an early 1-0 in the first on an Albert Pujols homer into the bullpen. Daniel Nava singled in Jacoby Ellsbury in the third to tie the game. Pedey followed with a single, that was then followed by a three-run homer into the Sox' bullpen by Big Papi. The Sox scored at will after that. Ellsbury tripled Mike Carp home in the 4th. Salty and Carp hit back-to-back homers in the sixth. Salty hit another homer in the 7th, this time a 3-run homer that scored Papi and Napoli to put the Sox up 10-3. Yeah, the Angels got a couple runs in there, but you don't care how it happened. Uehara gave up a pair of runs in the 8th to cap off the scoring for the afternoon at 10-5. Everyone in the Sox starting lineup got a hit, with the exception of Mike Napoli. Iglesias and Pedroia extended their hitting streaks to 13 games and Ellsbury extended his to 8. Ryan Dempster was treated to great run support for his second straight outing to improve to 4-6. Ryan hit a milestone of 2,000 career strikeouts with his 6 strikeouts on the afternoon. The Sox will head down to Tampa to start a 3-game set against the Rays at the Trop tomorrow night. Box Score
