Yes, it is a very foolish title. But seriously, the Red Sox could hardly give Mike Cameron away. Tuesday, they traded the veteran outfielder and cash to the Marlins for cash considerations or a player to be named later. According to a source, the Sox would prefer money.

Cameron was designated for assignment last Thursday, after an ugly 33 games this season. He was batting .149 with just three home runs before he was sent down in the latter season of a two-year, $15.5 million contract. Boston will pay the remaining $3.4 million on his deal, excluding the just under $200,000 pro rated veteran's minimum that Florida will pick up.

Hopefully Darnell McDonald is next. I can't decide who's worse: the outfield corps (outside of Ellsbury and Reddick) or the pitching staff (outside of Beckett and Lester... never mind, he's hurt).
