Outfielder Laynce Nix agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal is expected to become official if the nine-year veteran passes his physical on Monday, according to a report by CSNPhilly.com.
Nix, 31, batted .250 with a career-high 16 homers and 44 RBIs with the Washington Nationals last season.
