The Cincinnati Reds had a week that they would like to put behind them. Let's all hope that they do exactly that. It was a rather dismal week that did not result in many wins and resulted in more negative outlook than positive outlook from many in Reds Country. Let's take a look at the past week for the Redlegs. Record For the Week: 2-5 Overall Record: 4-6 Standings: The Reds currently sit three games back of the first place St. Louis Cardinals (7-3). Highs of the Week: - Aroldis Chapman appeared in three games during the past week pitching five innings while striking out nine batters. Opponents had two hits and posted a .118 average against him. Chapman gave up no runs during his appearances. - Logan Ondrusek appeared in four games pitching 3.2 innings giving up four hits and striking out three.
