Reliever Neshek claimed on waivers by Padres

The Twins placed reliever Pat Neshek on outright waivers on Friday, and the right-hander was claimed by the Padres on Sunday. Neshek, who had a 4.26 ERA over 6 1/3 innings in six outings this spring, simply fell behind on the Twins' depth chart.
