Michael Cuddyer is reportedly on the verge of agreeing to a three-year deal with the Minnesota Twins.Cuddyer was a major target for the Twins after hitting .284 with 20 home runs and 70 RBIs with Minnesota last season.The deal is reportedly worth $25 million.Cuddyer has spent his entire career with the Twins. The 32-year-old is one of the most versatile players in the league, spending time at first base, second base and in the outfield in 2011.

Twins general manager Terry Ryan confirmed he met with free-agent outfielder Michael Cuddyer's agent, Casey Close, on Tuesday, and that an offer -- expected to be for three years and $24 million -- is on the table.
On the same day the Minnesota Twins offered him a $25 million contract over three years, Michael Cuddyer received other news he probably found at least twice as compelling. Cuddyer announced Tuesday afternoon that his wife had given birth to twin girls — really — named Chloe and Madeline. A Twin begets twins. The couple also has a 3-year-old boy named Casey.
