MLB Insider Jon Heyman is reporting that the Padres have agreed to trade Jake Peavy to the White Sox for a package of minor league prospects once again. Peavy must agree to waive his no-trade clause, which was the hold up in the previous attempt at trading Peavy to Chicago. The prospects headed to San Diego are pitchers Clayton Richard, Adam Russell, Aaron Poreda and Dexter Carter.Peavy is currently on the disabled list with an ankle injury but both teams agreed to let the deal go through even with the pitcher on the DL. The recent prognosis, though, has Peavy coming back sooner rather than later. If Peavy accepts the trade, which it seems like he will, the White Sox will have done a great job in keeping up with the rest of the AL Central. The Tigers today added Jarrod Washburn and the Twins acquired Orlando Cabrera.
