According to multiple reports, the Mets were expected to interview Jim Riggleman for their vacant bench coach position later today. Also, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York says Bob Geren was to interview for the opening as well. Last week, while the New York Post said Bowa was a candidate, a team source told ESPN New York yesterday that Bowa is not likely to be in the mix.
