Reports say that former pitcher Roger Clemens handed reporters a written statement about the death of Mindy McCready at the Houston Astros spring training facility in Kissimmee, Florida today. Clemens is a special instructor with the Houston Astros. You may remember that McCready came out once saying her and Clemens had a long time relationship, something Clemens denied. In the statement Clemens called the death of the singer sad news. He said, her and her manager were always nice to him when ever he saw either of them. McCready calmed she met the Rocket Man at a Bar in Florida when she was just 15 years old. Clemens was 28 and married.
