Colorado Rockies pitchers Juan Nicasio and Edgmer Escalona got into a brief skirmish during a public workout at Coors Field on Thursday. The two had to be separated by teammates after some back-and-forth bantering while the players were stretching. The Rockies were working out on the field before their home opener Friday against the San Diego Padres. The Rockies say there are no lingering issues. First-year manager Walt Weiss told ColoradoRockies.com the fight was over, ''trivial stuff.'' Said Weiss: ''I wanted to make sure it was over with. That was my biggest concern. It is. ... They're like brothers.''
