Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez set a Rockies record with a three-run homer off Houston Astro's Bud Norris in his first at-bat Thursday night at Coors Field.  Gonzalez sets the Rockies record with four straight at-bat home runs.

Gonzalez hit three home runs in his final at-bats Wednesday night to help the team beat the Astros 13-5.  On Thursday, After Dexter Fowler walked and Marco Scutaro singled Gonzalez smacked his fourth home run.

Gonzalez ties a Major League record for homers in consecutive plate appearances and the record for consecutive at-bats with a homer.  Appearances has been accomplished 22 times as at-bats have been done 38 times.

Gonzalez was intentionally walked on his second plate appearance.  

Albert Pujols accomplished both feats April 16-17, 2006.
