The Colorado Rockies placed right-handed pitcher Juan Nicasio on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left knee, the team announced Sunday. To take his place on the roster, the Rockies have called up right-hander Guillermo Moscoso from Class AAA Colorado Springs. Nicasio suffered the knee injury during his start on Saturday, leaving in the second inning. It will be his second career trip to the disabled list. After making the opening day roster for the first time, Nicasio has a 2-3 record with a 5.28 ERA in 11 starts. Moscoso returns to the Rockies for the second time this season. He 0-1 with an 11.57 ERA in starts last month. At Triple-A, he has a 4-3 record with a 5.54 ERA in nine starts.
