The Colorado Rockies have released veteran catcher  Chad Moeller according to the team's official Twitter account. Moeller was released by the team so he can seek more playing time with another team.

Moeller signed a Minor League deal by the Rockies late in January. The 35-year old played in nine games for the New York Yankees in 2010 where he hit .214/.267/.429 in 15 plate appearances.  The 11-year veteran is...
