Ron Washington's postgame thoughts

He thought the pitching MVP was Dustin Nippert. Frank Francisco was unavailable because of flu-like symptoms. He doesn't think Nelson Cruz will have to go on the disabled list because of his right finger problem. He had never asked Jarrod Saltalamacchia to bunt before Sunday night. He said he saw Saltalamacchia hit in BP and thought he was good at it. He asked if he could do it in a game and Saltalamacchia said no problem. And his quote on the win.... "It was great. We needed it. This could the game to get us back on track."
