As the final month of the 2013 regular season nears, the national schedules for Major League Baseball telecasts from FOX Network, ESPN, MLB Network and TBS indicate just three St. Louis Cardinals games will be televised during the first two weeks of September.
All will air on MLB Network, with none on FOX, TBS or ESPN – at least so far.
To date, MLB Network has only announced its slate of games through September 14 as they undoubtedly want to monitor pennant races to guide their final two weeks of telecasts.
FOX’ national Saturday schedule of three games each on September 7 and 14 do not include St. Louis. The final two Saturday slates of games are yet to be selected.
ESPN has chosen seven contests through September 18. None of them are Cardinals games.
TBS has announced the first three of its Sunday afternoon games, on September 1, 8 and 15. The Cardinals were not selected for any of them.
