USA Sports 360:
Scott Feldman faced an Indians team that has lost more games in the second half of the season than any other team in all of baseball. The Indians set a franchise record for losing they have played so bad. Scott Feldman gave the Indians 4 runs in the first inning and the Texas Rangers never recovered and would lose to the Indians 4-3. The Rangers could have really used a win to help distance themselves from the Oakland A’s who have played red-hot baseball and are now only three games back of the Rangers in the A.L. West.
The Rangers would try to chip away on the Indians lead. Cleveland got a decent game out of their starter Jeanmar Gomez who has recently been back to the Indians. Texas would score a run in the 3rd on a David Murphy home run blast. They would pick up another rn in the 5th off a Mitch Moreland sac fly that would drive in Murphy. The Rangers would pick up their last run in the 6th of a Adrian Beltre home run as they fell short and lost to the Cleveland Indians who snapped another one of the teams losing streaks.

Texas Rangers top prospect Jurickson Profar, just called up to the major league roster this weekend, wasted no time in proving his worth. In his first major league at bat on Sunday against the Indians, Profar took a Zack McAllister pitch deep over the right field wall for the first homer of his career.
Pirates prospect Starling Marte also homered in his first career at bat, but...
Today’s game is the strangest I’ve watched in awhile. The Rangers teed off for five home runs, including one from Michael Young. Yu Darvish was perfect through 5.2 innings until a questionable call turned into a walk. Which unraveled into three runs for Kansas City.
But the strangest part of all was the benches clearing no-brawl in the 8th. Nelson Cruz stepped in and took...
Ladies and gentlemen — Jurickson Profar has arrived.
He’s just 19 years old, but he’s been touted as the top prospect in all of baseball. Rangers fans have been anticipating his debut for a long time. Or at least it feels like it. They expressed their ire when he sat on his first day in the big leagues. And they got redemption as Ian Kinsler was scratched with lower back...
The Texas Rangers will give 19-year-old infielder Jurickson Profar, considered their top prospect, a chance to prove he belongs on the playoff roster. The club announced after Friday's 5-3 win over the Cleveland Indians that it intended to purchase the contract of Profar from Class AA Frisco. He hit .281 (135-for-480) with 14 home runs, 26 doubles, seven triples, 62 RBI, 76...
Texas Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler was scratched from Sunday's lineup with a stiff lower back and was replaced by top-prospect Jurickson Profar, according to the team's website. Profar is making his major league debut batting ninth at the Cleveland Indians. Kinsler's injury is not considered serious and he could play on Monday against the Kansas City Royals...
Texas Rangers designated hitter Elvis Andrus hit an infield single with a slow roller that refused to go foul during Saturday night's game at Progressive Park against the Cleveland Indians.
It happened in the top of the eighth inning as Andrus hit a slow roller down the third base line. The ball appeared as if it was going foul but rolled back into fair territory when it...
This was one of the stranger Topps cards I have. It’s an older card, 1990, honoring Nolan Ryan’s 5000 K’s, but he’s in a Mets uniform. I haven’t done research on it, I guess it was part of several cards covering his career, as the back is just about his time with the Mets:

Jurickson Profar, the youngest player in the major leagues, homered in his first career at-bat for the Texas Rangers.
The 19-year-old hit a 2-1 pitch from Cleveland Indians starter Zach McAllister an estimated 388 feet over the right-field wall in the third inning on Sunday.
Profar became a surprise starter at second base when Ian Kinsler came up with a stiff back before the game...
Jurickson Profar made quite a debut at age 19, homering in his first major league at-bat as the Texas Rangers beat the Cleveland Indians 8-3 Sunday.
Profar opened the third inning with a drive over the right-field wall against Zach McAllister (5-6).
Josh Hamilton, Adrian Beltre and David Murphy all hit solo home runs in the Texas fifth.
Derek Holland (10-6) gave up two runs over...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Yu Darvish retired the first 17 batters, Texas hit five home runs and the Rangers beat the Kansas City Royals 8-4 Monday in a game that turned testy.
Adrian Beltre and Nelson Cruz homered on consecutive pitches in the sixth inning. Cruz watched his drive sail over the wall, then was hit by Louis Coleman's first pitch leading off the ninth.
Adrian Beltre had four hits and scored twice to help the Texas Rangers beat Cleveland 5-3 Friday night, handing the reeling Indians their sixth straight loss.
Beltre had three of his hits off Ubaldo Jimenez (9-14) as the Rangers rolled to their 10th win in 13 games.
The Indians' 15th loss in 16 games made them 5-24 in August, tying the team record for losses in one month, set...
Meet MLB's next superstar
(AP) -- Yu Darvish and Bruce Chen both have poor ERAs, but each was outstanding in his most recent outing.
These pitchers turned in scoreless efforts last week, and they meet Monday when the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals start a four-game set at Kauffman Stadium.
Darvish (13-9, 4.31 ERA) struck out 10 for the second consecutive outing and pitched seven innings Tuesday for...
