When Kevin Kouzmanoff was sent down to the minors this year and the A’s traded for Scott Sizemore to take his place I was not convinced the A’s had made the right move. Before coming to Oakland Kouzmanoff had been a good player and I have been waiting for him to get going again. So I felt the addition of Scott Sizemore might be hindering Kouzmanoff’s comeback. Especially when you think about that fact that in his two seasons at the major league level Sizemore had only hit a total of 3 home runs and had only driven in 18 runs in 206 at bats. So the swap of those two players at third seemed to be a bit of question mark move in my eyes. I mean Kouzmanoff had already produced better than those numbers so why bring in someone doing worse? Since my skepticism early on I have become a believer. Scott Sizemore has more than filled Kevin Kouzmanoff’s tiny shoes. He has turned his young career around with the A’s. He already has more home runs in his 107 at bats...
