The Seattle Mariners have placed catcher Jesus Sucre on the 15-day disabled list with a left hand injury, according to Greg Johns of Sucre has been out since he was hit on the left hand with a bat on a backswing during Tuesday’s contest against the Chicago White Sox. Forget caffeine, crazy-dancing Mariners fan was on something stronger (video)

The announcers opine at the beginning of the video — which shows a frenetically dancing, perhaps slightly unhinged, Seattle Mariners fan — that “the land of high octane coffee and espresso” may help explain this fellow’s madcap antics. But I beg to differ. From the looks of it, this guy was being fueled via the [...]The post Forget caffeine, crazy-dancing Mariners fan was...

GIF: Felix Hernandez fan dominates a massive turkey leg

This woman is a huge fan of star Seattle Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez, but from the looks of things, she's way more into this massive turkey leg.

Seattle Mariners fan enjoys a turkey leg during game

Sometimes going to the ballpark can cause one to get a tad hungry and during this Sunday's Seattle Mariners/New York Yankees match at Safeco Field, one fan enjoyed a turkey leg in the stands. Extra credit for also holding the Felix sign as well... (Courtesy of MLB Tumblr)

Fan devours turkey leg in KIng's Court at Safeco Field

During Sunday's Mariners-Yankees game at Safeco Field, this Felix Hernandez fan in a regal crown paid tribute to King Felix by smuggling a turkey leg into King's Court section of the stands.  Or maybe  the Safeco serf thought it was a Renaissance faire. Either way, it turned out to be a black night as New York won, 2-1, and took three of four from the home team this weekend.

Seattle Mariners fans gets his groove on during game

This is certainly one way to get yourself known at a ballgame. One Seattle Mariner fans couldn’t contain his dancing during Thursday’s Seattle Mariners game at Safeco field against the New York Yankees. You may have already seen this same guy dancing at a Seattle Mariners game earlier in the year. Back in April, a video went viral after this man was dancing with his daughter.

Foul Territory: Toddler Goes Flying At Mariners Game

I’ve seen some crazy things in my 40 years of watching baseball, and one of the most bizarre acts of our National Pastime is watching what some crazed fans would do just to catch a foul ball or a home run into the seats. You know what I’m talking about, right? Last night, during the Mariners and White Sox game Kyle Seager hit a dramatic game-tying grand slam in the bottom of...

Mariners’ Kendrys Morales day to day with back stiffness

Seattle Mariners first baseman Kendrys Morales was removed from yesterday’s contest against the New York Yankees due to back stiffness, according to Greg Johns of Manager Eric Wedge told reporters after the game that Morales is considered day to day. "His back locked up on him," manager Eric Wedge said. "He's feeling better. They've been...

Mariners 4, Yankees 1

Brendan Ryan and Jason Bay both hit two-out, two-run singles in Seattle's four-run fourth inning, Jeremy Bonderman pitched six sharp innings to win for the first time since 2010, and the Mariners beat the New York Yankees 4-1 on Friday night. All of Seattle's offense came in one stretch of the fourth inning when six straight batters reached base, capped by the clutch hits...

It's Time For The Seattle Mariners To Get A New Owner

What do some of the most successful teams in any professional sport have in common? Their owners are actively involved and can be seen. For the Seattle Mariners, that is not the case. For whatever reason, Hiroshi Yamauchi has decided not to be involved with the MLB team he owns and instead employs two men to represent him (Howard Lincoln and Chuck Armstrong). At what point of buying...

Is King Felix future Hall of Famer?

Every time Felix Hernandez takes the mound, something special can happen. The 2010 American League Cy Young winner is 105-80 with a 3.18 ERA in his eight-plus year career (through June 7, 2013). Imagine how many more victories the Seattle Mariners right-hander would have if he pitched for a better team. Example: He was just one game over .500 at 13-12 in 2010, but posted an AL...

Astros-Mariners Preview

The Seattle Mariners' Hisashi Iwakuma has been spectacular thus far, with his only loss surprisingly coming against the lowly Houston Astros. Manager Bo Porter's team, however, could be hard-pressed to get the best of him again at Safeco Field. Looking to stay unbeaten at home, Iwakuma brings a 21 2-3 scoreless innings streak into Monday night's series opener against...

Athletics Trade For Local Prospect

Vinnie Catricala is heading home! The Sacramento native was sent from the Seattle Mariners to the Oakland Athletics this morning in exchange for a player to be named. No note on where Catricalla will be sent, but he was batting .253 in the Southern League (Double-A), so you can only expect he’d play for the Midland Rockhounds once assigned. 22 year old, Catricala was ranked 12th...

MLB Umpire Falls Down And Goes Boom

Home plate umpire Mike Muchlinski had a little trouble with his footing during the first inning of Sunday’s Mariners and Yankees’ game at Safeco Field. Muchlinski was doing his best to avoid Mariners catcher Kelly Shoppach who was chasing a Vernon Wells foul ball. The result was quite hilarious. [Holdout Sports] Article found on: Next Impulse Sports
