SF Giants Rumors: Belt’s Breakout Game, Player Injuries

Have a game Brandon Belt! Belt had a career high four hit game, and one of them was a 3-Run BOMB!   I know I’m not the only one that thinks Bruce Bochy needs to play Belt more. We have a lot of slumping players, and I don’t think they should just keep getting trotted out their cause they’re veterans. It’s time to let Belt show you what he can do on an everyday basis.   The Giants made a move this weekend by placing closer Brian Wilson on the DL, and bringing up Steve Edlefsen. Edlefsen made his MLB Debut yesterday, and got the Giants out of BIG jam! He pitched 1.1 innings and had 2 strikeouts. Edlefsen retired all four hitters that he faced. There was a total of 11 players hurt during this road trip and 5 of them had to take a trip to the DL.
