Christian has received a non-roster invitation to camp. Haft also says the Giants have signed LHP Travis Blackley to a minor league deal. RHP Ramon Ortiz signed a minor league deal with the Giants and received an invitation to the team's major league spring camp.

Right-hander Ramon Ortiz has agreed to a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants and been invited to big league spring training. The 38-year-old went 1-2 with a 4.86 ERA in 22 appearances with two starts last year for the Chicago Cubs in his 11th major league season. He will join his eighth team.
