The Toronto Blue Jays are back in the win column.  On Monday night at Rogers Centre, the Blue Jays defeated the New York Mets 2-1 to snap their six-game losing streak and improve their record to 40-45.  In each of the six losses, the Blue Jays’ pitching staff allowed a run in the first inning, putting the club in a deficit right from the get-go.
