In the second big contract announced in the MLB on Monday, the San Francisco Giants give Matt Cain a six-year, $127.5 million deal. In all, the the deal could be worth up to $141 million. The contract is the richest in MLB history for a right-handed pitcher. The only larger contracts for pitchers were CC Sabathia, New York Yankees and Johan Santana, New York Mets. With Cain's new deal, Ian Casselberry from Bleacher Report, wonders if this sets the bar at $200M when Tim Lincecum either signs an extension or becomes a free agent. Although Lincecum signed a 2-year $40.2M contract in January, the deal only bought out his last two years of arbitration eligibility and Lincecum could become a free agent following the 2013 season. Will Lincecum get paid $200M?
