Spotlight on AL Rookies

The 2007 AL Rookie of the Year class has been hallowed in a way in which only mainstream baseball writers can hallow (can "hallow" be present-tense? I think it can). Anticipation is always on a premium in newsrooms across the country, while thoughtful retrospective usually falls through the cracks. Given the talent involved, the performance of the players in question may actually exceed the buzz surrounding them, though not all them may experience success in their first full-season tastes of big league craw.
