Eric Hurley will have surgery to repair a broken bone in his left wrist. Hurley hurt the wrist a couple of months ago, but the break wasn't discovered until recently. The surgery is only supposed to sideline him for 7 to 10 days. With Hurley already on the 60-day disabled list, it won't change his rehab schedule.
The Rangers have been in contact with Khalil Greene, but at this point baseball is still not in his future.
