The National League Central boasted its fair share of good players in 2012. In fact, there was a time during the season when it appeared the division would produce the MVP, Rookie of the Year, Cy Young winner, and the Manager of the Year, which would have been mighty impressive. But then Joey Votto got injured, the Pirates hit a nosedive, Johnny Cueto went through a rough stretch, and Davey Johnson's Nationals started surging. All in all, the division still sent two clubs to the postseason, which was a feat many pundits didn't think was possible prior to the year. Anyways, I thought it would be fun to assemble a 25-man All-NL Central team, just as I did at the All-Star Break and the preseason. I selected the players who I believed had the best seasons at their respective positions and thus, were the most deserving.
