It took a wacky shootout for the Bucs to finally pick up a victory in an American League ballpark. They were able to bust out the bats early and pitch juuust enough to hold on for the narrow win over Toronto, moving them ahead of Cincinnati into 3rd place and within 3 games of Milwaukee for first place. Who started the scoring, you say? How about Alex Presley? Fresh off the much-anticipated call-up, the wiry Presley delivered a two-run shot in his second AB (third inning) to put the Bucs on the board first. Toronto cut the lead in half with an Edwin Encarnacion homer in the bottom of the inning, but Kevin Correia was sharp early on other than that. Toronto imploded in the fourth. Former Blue Jay Lyle Overbay led off with a hit, then scored on a TRIPLE by Matt Diaz. Yes, a triple by Matt Diaz.
