Found March 17, 2013 on Awful Advertisements:
Your browser does not support iframes. The Seattle Mariners have produced some terrific commercials over the course of the past several seasons. In fact, the Mariners have often received more positive buzz about their advertising than they have about their play on the field. From a commercial that perfectly captivated the phenomenon that was Ichiro in his prime, to a folk song about Richie Sexson, the Mariners have had some memorable spots that received attention and praise from baseball fans around the country. The team recently released their ads for 2013, proving that at least off the field the Mariners would give their fans something to be proud of.  Warning: Ads might autoplay. Blame the MLB's video system, not us! This year the Mariners rolled out ads showing how it's important to stay focused and relaxed, seen above, along with a spot where Dustin Ackley shows just how much he loves his fans. If only a player would actually do this for an inning or t...

Felix Hernandez’s New Hot Sauce Spoof Ad

With the MLB season starting in two weeks, the Seattle Mariners have started releasing commercials to get you ready for opening day.  The Mariners unveiled this hilarious new ad with Felix Hernandez who sells his skills as a hot sauce called “King Felix’s High Heat.”  Gotta feel bad for the San Diego Padres though, who do nothing but have their team ragged on in this video...

Jon Garland could make starting rotation

The veteran, journeyman pitcher Jon Garland may actually make a rotation after all.  Garland, who missed the entire 2012 season after shoulder surgery in 2011, has been a decent pitcher.  Not surprisingly, he has his best success in pitcher parks.  While the Mariners have altered their dimensions, they are still considered to have a pitcher-friendly park. Perhaps the Mariners...

30-1 MLB countdown previews: #14 Mariners

It is easy to just simply rank the 30 teams based on what Baseball Prospectus says. History has shown that several teams do not perform to exactly what Baseball Prospectus says. Several teams have had success for no proven reason other than the fact that they won more games than expected. However, the grind of a 162 game season weeds out some teams that cannot keep that pace up without...
