The Detroit Tigers have placed second baseman Carlos Guillen on the 15-day disabled list with left wrist soreness.The move was made retroactive to Aug. 13.Guillen had been playing through the pain, but opted to go on the DL after hitting just 3-for-32 so far in August.The 35-year-old infielder is batting .207 for the season with two homers and 11 RBIs in 82 at-bats.Second baseman Will Rhymes was recalled from Triple-A Toledo to take Guillen's spot on the roster. Rhymes batted .221 with two RBIs in 68 at-bats for the Tigers during Guillen's DL stint earlier this season.
