The Detroit Tigers have suffered a huge blow today as several media outlets have reported that designated hitter/catcher Victor Martinez will miss most, if not, all of the 2012 season with a left knee injury. The 33-year old slugger injured his knee during offseason conditioning, a torn ACL that will require surgery.
