BravesBuzz:
Tom Glavine has officially retired and is staying on to assist the front office. His duties will include "assist Schuerholz on baseball and business projects and also work on special assignments for general manager Frank Wren and manager Bobby Cox."
It also says Glavine will be in the booth for a minimum of 13 games. Hey, when Glavine is talking that means Chip won't be, so I'm all for it.
Sounds like they'll be working him in a lot of different positions and situations to see where he feels comfortable at. Good to see him staying on board.
