Here's a running list of trade rumors around the Major Leagues: – The New York Mets have expressed interest in right handed pitcher Grant Balfour according to David Lennon of Newsday. He adds that they're having “in-house trade discussions” at the moment. – According to Jon Heyman of CBSSports, the Toronto Blue Jays would like to deal shortstop Yunel Escobar, but he says that the Braves aren't interested in re-acquiring him. – The Los Angeles Angels are not only looking for a starter, but for relievers too according to Danny Knobler of CBSSports. Knobler says that the Angels are interested in Matt Capps, have talked to the Nationals and could be interested in Jonathan Broxton. Zack Greinke, Cole Hamels and Francisco Liriano are among the starters under the Angels' radar and they have also talked to the Rays regarding their starting pitchers. Knobler adds that the Angels would be willing to deal outfielder Peter Bourjos for the right reliever and either Kendrys Morales or Garrett Richards for one of the top starters. – If the Marlins become sellers Anibal Sanchez and Josh Johnson will be among the players to go according to Bob Nightengale of USAToday. He adds that the Braves have expressed interest in Sanchez. Image by Keith Allison under the Creative Commons License Agreement.
