South Park once said, "If irony were strawberries, we'd all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
A truck delivering fish crashed into the Loria Center, named for Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria, on Monday morning. No one was injured.
Perfect. Just perfect. Utter perfection.
Its only fitting that after a disastrous Marlins season, a truck full of fish its a building named after the owner. Pretty much how the Marlins season has gone so far.
Yale police officer William Holohan said that the driver's gas pedal stuck as he lost control of the truck. The truck had just come from across the street at Jonathan Edwards College.
“[The driver] was attempting to straighten out the truck," Holohan said. "I don’t know how it ended up on the sidewalk."
It appears as if its only minor damage to the building. The metal paneling was pretty dented and a glass-panelled door was shattered upon impact.
How many more fish must get ruined by Loria?
