The Colorado Rockies are hoping to have Troy Tulowitzki in the lineup for the final month of the season. Not to help in a playoff chase - way too late for that - but simply for peace of mind. The All-Star shortstop has been sidelined since late May with a groin injury that eventually required surgery. The team wants him back on the field so he's not thinking about the injury all offseason. There's also this: Rockies manager Jim Tracy hopes Tulowitzki can start building chemistry with infielder Josh Rutledge. Tulowitzki was scheduled to play with Double-A Tulsa on Monday before returning to Denver for more evaluation. Should all go well, Tulowitzki will be sent to Triple-A Colorado Springs for a few games and may be back in early September.

Lindstrom likes what he sees with D-backs

Josh Rutledge Took A Big Step

I love finding players on the waiver wire and watching their ownership percentage grow. It’s one of the best parts about fantasy sports for me. To see a guy go from .05% owned when you pick him up to 100% is a feeling comparable to when my dog sat for the first time on command. My favorites are the players who don’t even have bio pictures when you first pick them up. Michael...
