MLB Injury News:
The Minnesota Twins enter the 2013-14 offseason with hopes of bolstering their starting rotation. They have several candidates on their radar, and Darren Wolfson of 1500ESPN adds another to the list; Korean right-hander Suk-Min Yoon.
Add another starter to the #MNTwins radar: Korea righty Suk-Min Yoon. MN will scout his upcoming showcase. No posting fee in play to sign.

Wolfson reports that the Twins will scout Yoon during his upcoming showcase. This showcase will be conducted in the United States in the near future, according to reports.
Because Yoon is a free agent, teams will not be required to pay a posting fee in order to begin negotiations like the Texas Rangers had to do in the case of Yu Darvish.
Yoon broke onto MLB’s radar in 2009 when he pitched well for the Korean team during the World Baseball Classic. He was expected to join the major-league ranks following the 2011 season, but he decided to return to Korea.
Last season, Yoon, 27, maintained an ERA of 4.00 for the KIA Tigers, posting a 7.8 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

The Minnesota Twins' 2013 season was a disappointment as they finished with a 66-96 record for the second straight year. However, now that the season has been over for a few weeks, it's time to look back at the year that was and hand out end-of-year awards. Here are the players I felt were worthy of the following honors.
Position player of the year: C Joe Mauer
MINNEAPOLIS -- A trio of Minnesotans took home the three biggest honors of this year's Diamond Awards, the Minnesota Twins' annual year-end awards.
Catcher Joe Mauer, a St. Paul native, was named the Calvin R. Griffith Award winner as the Most Valuable Twin. Mauer batted .324 with 11 homers and 47 RBI in 113 games this season and also earned a trip to his sixth career All...
MLB Trade Rumors posted the offseason outlook for the Twins today. They are much more plugged into the baseball world than I even pretend to be, but I think I am pretty aware of how the Twins work, so I thought I would break it down a little bit further. More specifically, I want to take a look at the names they threw out as guys that would be targets for Terry Ryan and the front...
Yu Darvish has made a $42,000 donation to the Jackie Robinson Foundation to help fund college scholarships.
The Texas pitcher presented the check Wednesday to Rachel Robinson, the widow of Jackie Robinson and founder of the foundation, during her visit to Tokyo. Jackie Robinson wore No. 42, which has been retired by Major league Baseball and won't be worn by anyone else following...
Jose Abreu was choosing between the Texas Rangers and Chicago White Sox. Multiple reports suggested that Abreu was all but certain to go to Chicago to play for the White Sox, while another report said that the Rangers were the favorites to land Abreu. A deal has now been agreed to and it looks like the Jose Abreu race is over.
The Chicago White Sox and Cuban first baseman Jose Abreu...
