Upside -- and downside

The Cubs' $140 million belly-flop of a season had no shortage of guys taking blame (along with one particular outfielder assigning plenty of it), from the big-money left fielder who spiraled to career lows in hitting and power production to the general manager whose $30 million whiff on Milton Bradley might have been the only swing uglier than an Alfonso Soriano hack at an 0-2 slider away.
