What do you think Armando Galarraga did the day after being robbed of a perfect game? Well this classy gentleman brought out the Tigers lineup to Jim Joyce and the rest of the umpiring crew at home plate and shook hands.
If that wasn’t enough General Motors presented Galarraga with a Chevy Corvette in honor of his effort and sportsmanship last night.
Now doesn’t the government own GM? So didn’t the U.S. government just give Galarraga a new car? Way to go America! I’ve found only a couple of problems with this:
1. You just gave a millionaire a car he can easily afford.
2. The car is from a company that is getting bailed out with tax payers money.
3. The gas for it will be over $3.00 a gallon because of an oil spill the government can’t stop.
