This week, Carl Crawford had the opportunity to face his former team for the 1st time since signing with the Boston Red Sox. Prior to the Sox game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday, Crawford spoke about his feelings facing his former club and what it feels like to play against a team he called home for many years. This week’s video doesn’t have the same ‘humor’ factor that last week’s Dustin Pedroia and Terry Francona interview did, but it provides some interesting insight into the adjustment a player needs to make when switching teams, especially within the division. Crawford received more cheers than boos when he came to the plate at the Rays Spring Training facility this week. Rays Fans appreciate his contribution to the franchise over the last 9 seasons. I'm just an average baseball fan but i have two friend's who live eat and breath baseball so when they convinced me to watch the world series with them because i would be in for a great treat when cliff lee pitched i did. as far as i could tell he never came close to being a pitcher. i think he's done------
