Blue Jays: Kevin Gausman’s Opening Day start is long overdue
The Toronto Blue Jays named Kevin Gausman their Opening Day starter on Saturday in a no-brainer move to honour one of the best pitchers in franchise history. Gausman, 35, is entering the final season of the five-year, $110 million contract he inked with the Blue Jays in December 2021.
