Cincinnati Reds righthander Edinson Volquez will start Sunday against the Colorado Rockies.
It will be the first major league start in more than two months for Volquez, who was demoted to Triple-A Louisville after going 5-4 with a 5.93 ERA in 16 starts.
Volquez, who started the season opener for the Reds, has struggled to regain his form after undergoing Tommy John surgery in August 2009.
The 28-year-old Volquez went 17-6 with the Reds in 2008 but is 13-9 over the past three seasons.
